micropiling
We apply grouted self drilling micropiles of R type. The principle of R type micropile is drilling in of steel rods with thread and subsequent grouting with polyurethane or cement mixture. Grouting is made through the inner opening of the micropile. Micropiles can be installed in soil, rock, as well as in constructions. According to required bearing capacity we use types R25, R32, R38, R51 a R76. We provide also design and statical calculation for individual applications.
Basic element of the micropile is an adjustable steel anchor rod with thread. Micropiles can be adjusted using couplers to the desired length up to 15 m. Accessories include further hexagonal nuts, load spreading anchor plate and drilling cross bits.
Examples of use:
- foundation of buildings and constructions
- stabilization of defected buildings
- foundation in complicated geotechnical conditions
- filling of open spaces and caverns underground
- construction of underground barriers, stopping of contamination spreading, e.g. when solving environmantal accidents
Advantages of self drilling anchors and micropiles:
- suitable for foundation of buildings under complicated geological conditions as for example at shifting sand, water bearing sand and gravel, micropiling under flowing groundwater table and etc.
- the possibility to perform works at areas with restricted space, under technological installations, at cellars, in small spaces and etc.
- very mobile technology
- in case of using polyurethane grouting media it is possible to fully load the micropile after 1hour – 1 day from the finishing of the grouting works (depending on the type of used grouting media)
